I worked with National Trust site Ham House & Gardens in Richmond, to produce five illustrations of people from the English Civil War. They included Elizabeth Murray, Oliver Cromwell, a Royalist Spy, a Parliamentarian Spy and Charles II. These figures were set-up outside Ham House and in the gardens as part of a family-friendly games Easter trail.
Instead of an Easter egg hunt, visitors had to hunt for spies hiding in the gardens. They also had to search for Charles II, who apparently hid in an oak tree to escape Parliamentarian forces!
