I regularly work with video and animation agency, Bearded Fellows, as their freelance illustrator/styleboard artist. In this role, I have created character designs and animation-ready styleboards for training and corporate videos. Our collaborations have produced work for clients including Google, Facebook, Burberry, BBC Sounds, Heathrow, and more.
Bearded Fellows hired me to design and create a series of motion graphic storyboards for BBC Sounds popular podcast “Wheel of Misfortune”. The podcast is hosted by two female comedians, Alison Spittle and Kerry Katona, who invite guests to share their embarrassing and sometimes shocking stories! Bearded Fellows chose the best clips from the top viewed podcasts through the series, that feature guests including Phil Wang, Jamali Maddix and Lottie Bedlow. You can watch the animations here.
We understood early on that creating characters to be instantly recognisable to the audience, will be fundamental for this piece to be a success. I worked with Bearded Fellows to bring to life the characters and scenes through illustration to create original assets for each story.
